Hi. So recently my old SCART compatible TV stopped working, so we purchased a new 4K Smart TV. I’ve had to purchase a SCART to HDMI lead to connect stuff like my DVD player, and of course the VCR. The cable works fine for the DVD player and for my PS2, but for some reason the TV refuses to recognise when I connect the VCR.
